Today we’re looking at Oodle Ramen & More in Orlando! We found this place from an IG reel and the food looked really delicious. We decided to pay them a visit for our weekly date night on Wednesdays. When we walked in we were seated immediately by a friendly young person. Initially the restaurant was quiet but shortly after we arrived the restaurant began to get a healthy amount of patrons and later we found out why.
We started off with the Nori Fries. The fries were cooked nicely. Just crispy enough on the outside with a fluffy interior. The seaweed strips really added a unique flavor that we liked. The mayo based dipping sauce that accompanied was very delicious and paired nicely with the fries.
Next up we had Bao Buns. All of the components of the dish paired very nicely together. The rich pork belly was delicious! It had crispy edges and a juicy interior. The pickled red onions cut through the richness of the pork for a perfect pairing. The bun itself was firm on the outside but soft inside. This reminded us of some of the Bao Buns we get when we visit NYC, in a really good way.
We then moved on to Karaage and Gyoza. The Karaage was hot! You could tell it spent no time sitting on the pass, getting cold. It was fried to perfection, the chicken was still tender inside with a crispy but light coating on the outside. It came with a dipping sauce that went well with the chicken. The Gyoza filling was seasoned nicely and tasted amazing. Probably one of the better Gyoza we’ve had in Orlando.
